Terms of Use

Welcome to RecoverX. These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and the operators of RecoverX. By downloading, accessing, or using the application, you agree to be bound by these terms. We operate under the stringent guidelines set forth by the Google Play Developer Policy Center.

1. Scope of the Application

RecoverX is a local utility tool designed to analyze, organize, and compress device storage files (such as images, videos, and APKs). We do not guarantee the recovery of previously deleted files that are not resident in the device's readable memory or cache, and we do not guarantee exact compression reductions, as these depend exclusively on Android OS limitations and file structures.

2. User Responsibility Over Local Files

RecoverX employs a "review-first" approach. We present files for your review within a Cleanup Queue or Duplicate Scanner interface. The final decision to compress, delete, or modify any file rests entirely with you. We shall not be held liable for accidental or intentional deletion of vital data, system files, or un-backed up personal media.

3. Secret Vault Provisions

Our "Secret Vault" feature encrypts user-selected files on the device using a user-provided PIN. You acknowledge and accept that:

• If you forget your PIN, there is no centralized password recovery system due to the offline, local-first architecture.
• If you uninstall RecoverX, clear app cache, or completely wipe the device, all files within the Secret Vault are irretrievably deleted.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, or otherwise exploit any part of RecoverX commercially without written authorization. You may only use this system on devices you own or legally possess administrative rights to.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the creators of RecoverX be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from lost data, device malfunction, or uninterrupted service usage.

6. Third-Party Integrations

The app displays advertisements powered by third-party services like Google AdMob in accordance with Google AdMob program policies. We disclaim any liability for the behaviors or tracking elements initiated strictly by these integrated network SDKs, as they remain governed by Google's respective policies.
